日常で使える英会話 -long in the tooth
Following on from Tim’s very dark subject last week we will continue to talk about aging today.
“long in the tooth” simply means getting old.
For example..
I went to a club last weekend but soon realised that I’m getting a bit long in the tooth for them now.
This year is my 40th! I’m starting to feel a bit long in the tooth.
